Get to Know Your Zinester: Café y Té Collective

Who: Café y Té Collective

What would you like people to know about your zines?
We would like people to know that our zines have helped us heal. We are intersectional beings that needed a creative outlet to better understand ourselves and the world around us. We hope people enjoy our zines and feel inspired to make their own.

Tell us about a zine maker or zine that has had an impact on you.
Unity has had a huge impact on me because of the way they build community. They always do their best to make zines/art accessible to everyone but primarily queer poc.

What are you looking forward to at L.A. Zine Fest 2019?
We look forward to meeting new people and discovering new zines.

Make sure to check out Café y Té Collective’s table at L.A. Zine Fest 2019 on Sunday, May 26th at Helms Bakery in Culver City!
