Describe what your zines are about in two sentences or fewer.
Obscure comix and odd Zines for punx, freaks and dandys by these two Colombian weirdos visiting the USA!
What would you like people to know about the zines you create?
Juan & Diego: Bogota artist, thin body, glasses and constant smile, lives in a perpetual exploration and struggle of his being, his art and the world that surrounds him. Everything is reflected in its sometimes grotesque, sometimes cynical, sometimes hopeless, sometimes existentialist, and always great illustrations. His work is inspired by the beautiful ugliness of this stupid world, as he says. The death, the rats, the garbage, the dirt, all those things in which many see carrion and decomposition, he sees an aesthetic richness full of possibilities. His characters are always somewhat punctuated by punk and show the dislocated beauty of this culture.
What’s the last zine you read that you really enjoyed?
We read Dis-Piche which is a zine made by Axel Mejia and Erland Cutter from Costa Rica. Illustrated with no love and no skill, it is one of the best and funniest zines ever. It is just random comics and jokes about latin american punx. Only two numbers were finished and that is all you need.
