Describe what your zines are about in two sentences or fewer.
Amongst my creations, you will find zines inspired by love, heartbreak, family, friends, d.i.y.’s, how-to’s, self-help, tips, recipes, and day to day life.
What would you like people to know about the zines you create?
My zines vary in themes and topics. Sometimes they’ll be d.i.y./self-help tips, other times they’ll be full of poetry, art, and anything that might drive me. Through writing and creating, I have been able to express my journey in navigating through the times as a person who is queer, gender fluid, and mentally ill. In my works you will find inspiration derived from love, heartbreak, family, friends, and managing day to day life.
What’s the last zine you read that you really enjoyed?
The last zine I read that I was in love with was Jotita De Amor’s “Rosa Salvaje – Heartbreak Hoetry”. It involved two of my favorite things, poetry & heartbreak. I could not put it down once I started reading it!
