Describe what your zines are about in two sentences or fewer.
Surreal cartoon descents and explorations into the realm madness of life, its chaos, and revelations.
What would you like people to know about the zines you create?
The purpose of my work is to remind everyone that it’s okay to create weird, personal work so that resonates with the subconscious of individuals so that their bizarre nature is validated. I hope that my zines showcase that no matter who you are or identify as, expressing yourself is the most valuable asset to innovation and feeling fulfilled.
What’s the last zine you read that you really enjoyed?
“I Couldn’t Afford Therapy, So I Made This” by Lawrence Lindell is a wonderfully experimental and beneficial zine on Black mental health, and the importance of art as a vessel to exorcise inner demons so that others may be successful in mastering their own.
