WHAT WOULD YOU LIKE PEOPLE TO KNOW ABOUT THE ZINES YOU CREATE AND/OR WHY YOU ARE LOOKING FORWARD TO TABLING AT L.A. ZINE FEST 2016?: The Night School Collection: A collection of haunted media produced by a fake cult including VHS, DVDs, Laserdiscs, and trading cards. TV Death Maze: Goth Synesthesia Poetry and Collage. In this phantasmagoric universe of totally surreal zones, half-remembered images of TV reruns reveal themes of life, death, sex, and religion. The Horror Smash of an Alternate 1989! Middle School Hot: Embarrassing autobiographical tales of middle school. Topics include ‘Compulsive Masturbation’, ‘Sex Ed’, and ‘Make Out Sessions’ The Story of Josh: A Cold War Era Arcade Soap Opera I love the zine format because it gives you the freedom to focus intensely on whatever subject matter you wish to engage with and there are no consequences (financially or otherwise) if you fail…or succeed for that matter!
