It’s October already, and that means two things: One, you have to start thinking about your Halloween costume already or it WILL sneak up on you; two, it is time for Etsy Craft Night at the CAFAM! Without giving too much away, I can tell you that the ladies of the L.A. Zine Fest will be guiding attendees through a make-your-own zine project, there will be button-making devices, and that popcorn, snacks, and beer will be provided for the cost of admission ($5). The workshop is from 7-9 p.m., so stop by and see us then!
If you’ve never been to the Craft and Folk Art Museum, I encourage you to check out their website. They’re an incredible place that holds lots of hands-on workshops all the time–printmaking, papermaking, knitting– not just once a month! Another reason to love the CAFAM is their amazing gift shop. They have handmade, esoteric goods from the farthest reaches of the globe mingled with incredible pottery from Santa Monica. They’re one of the liveliest museums in L.A., and we’re really excited to be partnering with them and with Etsy.
